Road Trip Dude

Last week I went on a road trip with my buddies Kidz In The Hall and Atmosphere. Why? Just for the hell of it.

Kidz In The Hall have come on leaps and bounds since I last saw them live. Double O uses a digital drum kit which adds a little spice to the show and they've grown a lot more confident. I've always been a supporter of Atmosphere and his fan base is ridiculous. His shows last nearly 2 hours and the crowd pretty much rap along to every word. Incredible artist to watch live, he's a real pro.

Needless to say, we hit my man A-Cyde up at Nike for some wears. Here we find Naledge, Double O and Matty Marcus in Boogie Down Brighton.

Me and Rick. Meeting him kinda made my day.

The Cool and Not So Cool

Sway and Lupe interviewed each other on MTV Base a few weeks back so I caught up with Mr Fiasco, he's a good dude. Then on a recent trip to Istanbul I realised where he got the inspiration for his cover of 'The Cool'. Taken at the Sancta Sofia Mosque.

Resurrection '08

If any of you read my previous posts you'll realise the temporary hiatus (hmm, August '07) from this blog became a pretty serious project and commitment to the Fat Lace Magazine site. If you don't already know, stop by here. It's not that I'm bored of Fat Lace, hell nah. Myself and Drew have created a monster and we had no idea how much support we'd get in such a short space of time. Long may it last. This blog is a lot more personal however.

So now Fat Lace is successfully off the ground it's time to dig in my personal archives again. Here's a link to a montage of some of the earlier freestyles from my All City Show, circa 2001-2003. I was originally going to release it as a commercial CD but couldn't be bothered chasing the artist clearances. So now zshare has pretty much wiped out the music industry as we know it, here it is for free. I'll post Volume 2 soon. Enjoy.

By the way, this took me a while to compile and edit this so you'd better leave me a comment if you're gonna jack it.
